Concrete Floor Finishing: From Laser Screed to Power Trowel
A high-quality concrete floor is the result of a sequence, not a single machine.
Step 1 — Placing and screeding
A laser screed spreads and levels the concrete to a tight tolerance, replacing manual raking and reducing labour by a wide margin.
Step 2 — Vibration
Poker vibrators or vibrating beams remove entrapped air so the slab reaches its designed density.
Step 3 — Floating
Walk-behind power trowels with float blades close the surface and work the aggregate down.
Step 4 — Trowelling
Ride-on power trowels with steel blades produce the hard, dense, burnished finish required for warehouse and industrial floors.
